The New DBS Indulge 2.0

You probably have heard, or even seen, the major upgrade we had for DBS Indulge last month. We’ve tweeted about it, new screenshots are up on our Facebook Page as well. This will be our official little shout-out for our reborn baby, Indulge 2.0!
Well, this is truly exciting because DBS Indulge is considerably our first big hit (app) in Singapore. Many clients have come to us as a result, and some of us here actually accompanied Indulge through its first stages of development and slowly nurtured into a full-grown popular F&B app in Singapore.
One of the most major improvements in 2.0 is the interface and navigation, taking after its sister app, DBS Shopper, which quickly hit the top of Lifestyle apps within first week of launch. Polished look and feel plus simple navigation for better user experience. Indulge is now an indulge to enjoying great food and discounts than just a handbook of available coupons.
Another major add-on in 2.0 is the increased sociability and personability of the way end-users interact with the app. The new “Like” feature, a continuation of the “Like” culture from Facebook, and yet serves as a popularity indicator to other app users. There are now four ways to share a deal/restaurant - Facebook, Twitter, Email or SMS. Users can also create their own list of Favorite merchants, or even opt-in (for the iPhone users only) to receive periodic push notifications on new deals.

DBS Indulge 2.0 is currently published for the iPhone on the iTunes App Stores, and will soon roll-out on BlackBerry, Android, and Symbian platforms.
